Rating Manufacturers
At All About Blinds and Shutters, Inc., we take our customer's needs and wants seriously - it's our job. We know that it's the name of the game and we are dedicated. Expectations A customer's expectation is the definition of satisfaction. We feel that whether the customer is right or not is not necessarily the question. The real question is what do our customers expect? Our clients tell us that they: Want it done right the first time. Two or three trips to get something done is a hassle. Want it done at a fair price. I don't meet too many people who expect to pay the cheapest price in town for the top quality. Want it done on time. When move in day comes you have a lot going on so it's important that we live up to the promised time. And that pretty much sums up what we expect from our manufacturers as well. We want the product done right as ordered, done at a competitive price and we want it on time -- we have promises to keep. The Rating Game We base our ratings on many factors; we do not discriminate and we do not rate a company that we have not had personal experience with. Some of the factors that we consider when rating a manufacturer are: Pricing: are we competitive? Does the manufacturer pricing meet or exceed our expectations? Quality: are there material or workmanship problems? Service: do we get attention from the manufacturer when we need help? Client Reviews: are our clients happy with the products purchased? Selection: do we meet the needs of our clients? Warranty: does the manufacturer stand behind their promises the way we do? What the Ratings Mean Excellent. This manufacturer has our top rating. By meeting all our expectations, price, quality, service, client reviews, selection and warranty, we are able to recommend this company with an Excellent rating. We show this product line on every appointment no matter the budget. Very Good. By meeting our expectations for the products purchased we are able to recommend this company with a very good rating. Fair. By meeting most of our expectations for the products purchased we are able to recommend this manufacturer with a fair rating. We encourage our clients to consider our other lines. Not Good Enough. We no longer carry this product line after serious issues. Account closed. Terrible. Stay away! We no longer carry this line because of major problems with the service department, warranty complaints, durability or quality control issues. Account closed for ever. The Final Analysis If we add all the customer rating systems together and boil them down the one question left standing would be: Did we meet the expectations of the consumer? Our promise is that we will do anything and everything that we can reasonably do to see that we meet or exceed our clients expectations. We will not offer a product line from a manufacturer that does not live up to the level of service that we require of ourselves. It's our commitment to our clients and it's how we do things.
